Training
Focus on team effectiveness
By effectively managing your teams, you strengthen mutual trust and increase the openness and thus the result-orientation of your team. In this course you will learn in concrete terms which steps you can take to bring your team to better performance.
You know there is more potential in your team, but it doesn't come out. You notice that your people do not address each other but come to tell you their story. You feel that they show insufficient ownership and individually contribute insufficiently. And regularly your people are pulled from other parts of the organization, asked as unsolicited. This makes managing team goals very difficult.
How do you manage effective follow-up of decisions?
After this module:
you are aware of how to further develop your confidence in the team
do you have concrete tools how to strengthen the openness within the team
you know how to make team members feel more ownership of the goals to be achieved
you have an eye for both tasty things and the goal as well as less tangible things such as emotions
you recognize the different phases of team development and are you capable of taking the team to a higher level
you recognize the dynamics of your team and know how to respond to it
know your own strengths and pitfalls in managing teams
you have concrete tools to take with the team |
“A must for any team that wants to perform effectively. A great tool to make the talents of your team visible and to make better use of it. ”

Program of this training
The purpose of the training is that you lead your team step by step to ever greater performance. You do this by strengthening mutual trust, increasing openness and thus the result-orientation of your team.
During two days, intensive work is done in a small group. Through interaction you are challenged to apply theory and there is room to learn from each other.
The training is aimed at personal deepening and practical application. The setup is small-scale, with eight to twelve participants per group. The training consists of about 30% theory and 70% the application of this theory in interactive exercises. The purpose of this is that concrete insights are applied in daily practice.
In preparation for this course you will be asked to fill in Lencioniscan. This shows where the growth potential lies in your team.
Day 1: Team development - this is how you manage the different phases of development
The 3 principles of teamwork (1. everyone has the right to a place; 2. there is a logical order; 3. there is balance between giving and taking);
Giving direction to your team: goals, results, role sharpness;
Leading the interaction: dealing with the diversity of motives, emotions, beliefs, irritations;
To experience how trust and openness are built.
Day 2: Decision-making - the rules of thumb for creating support
Phases in decision-making: imaging, judgment, decision-making, action;
Participation levels: who do you involve when and in which way in which phase
Case-oriented sharpening of the skills (from creating the context, involving the team members to making the decision).

Start training at 9:00 am
Lunch at approximately 12:30 pm
Closes around 5.30 pm
