Gerrit Muller
Late ’90s, Gerrit was the first Head of System Engineering at ASML. Prior to that, he led the development of the MRI scanner at Philips as an architect. Since 2002, he has been a senior scientist at TNO-ESI. He is also a professor of System Engineering at the University of Kongsberg (Norway).
Gerrit has an unerring ability to distinguish sense from nonsense. He simply smells fluffiness and bluff. Gerrit thinks from the customer’s perspective, understands technical complexity and knows what is organisationally feasible. He structures, builds connections, knows how to deal with ambiguity and is straightforward in his feedback. Content is central to Gerrit; he has no time for charades.
