Hide is a management consultant, executive coach and trainer in organizational, team and leadership development. After his study in Organization Behavior, he joined a multinational company, where he worked for thirty years in various HR responsibilities. He has held leadership positions and led companies through transformation, in both the US and several countries in Asia.

After his retirement he works as a consultant and trainer, specializing in organizational and leadership change. He is also visiting professor at Business Breakthrough University in Tokyo, where he teaches Leadership and Corporate Transformation to professional MBAs. In addition, he gives public lectures on the subject of Strategic Human Resource Management, Organization Transformation and Leadership Development.

Hide resides in Kobe (Japan) and Maui (Hawaii). He is fluent in Japanese and English
