For this it is essential to develop the ability to build relationships and to connect to the way that other people communicate. In this course you will increase your influence and make a bigger difference as a professional and as a leader by who you are.
Influence without power is a relevant topic. Increasingly, we work in matrix organizations, networks and virtual teams. Hierarchy is receding to the background. More and more your personal skills are key in getting things done. You know exactly where you want to get on a technical level, but how do you convince the stakeholders, both inside as well as outside of the organization?
You would like to get a better understanding of the needs of your stakeholders. You would also like to learn how to build and maintain stronger relationships. Linking with, and connecting to the needs and styles of other people will support you in this.
How do you gain more influence without using authority?

The aim of the training is that you get more done from others without using authority or hierarchy.
During two days, intensive work is done in a small group. Through interaction you are challenged to apply theory and there is room to learn from each other.
The training is aimed at personal deepening and practical application. The setup is small-scale, with eight to twelve participants per group. The training consists of about 30% theory and 70% the application of this theory in interactive exercises. The purpose of this is that concrete insights are applied in daily practice.
Day 1: Oversee the playing field and understand myself and other players
Introduce personal leadership
Creating an overview of the organization and stakeholders
Build strong professional relationships
Understanding how the brain filters information
Recognize personal preference style in communication
Day 2: Consciously use other communication styles to win others over
Gain insight into the power of influence and what you can change in it
Adjust communication style to the preference of the other
Experiment with styles that are uncomfortable for you
Growing from your personal leadership
The whole afternoon of day 2 is practiced with professional training actors. This means that you can be yourself, the actor adapts and gives feedback on your style. In other words, there are no role-playing games, but there are "almost real" practice situations.
Daily routine:
Walk-in from 8.30 am
Start training at 9:00 am
Lunch at approximately 12:30 pm
Closes around 5.30 pm
